Gluten free bread, be your own baker

If you are intolerant to gluten, you do not have to deprive yourself of a delicious bread for your breakfast.

Here we give you an idea of ​​how you can make homemade gluten-free bread yourself .. Soon you will find yourself inventing your own mixes, and you will be a chef-baker.

Ingredients divided into 3 groups:

1/4 Flax seed flour

3 tablespoons of brown sugar

1/3 cup sweet rice flour

1 cup of brown rice flour

1/2 cup certified gluten-free oatmeal flour

3/4 cup flour millet

1/2 cup tapioca flour

1/3 cup arrowroot starch

1 1/2 teaspoons of salt

1 tablespoon of xanthan gum to give consistency and bind all the ingredients evenly.

3 organic eggs preferably, since we are in this to take care of health.

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Agave honey

4 tablespoons of butter, do not use margarine as this is a completely industrial product

1 packet of active dry yeast

1 teaspoon of granulated sugar for yeast

1/4 cup plus 1 cup hot water


Once you have all the ingredients, take them out at room temperature for at least half an hour.

Grease the mold that you are going to use to bake the bread with butter evenly so that the bread doesn't stick.

Preheat the oven to about 200 degrees, while you do the above.

Having separated the dry ingredients from the rest, mix them all in the blender; these are all flours without gluten, salt and sugar; except for yeast

The rest of the ingredients in a separate container, that is, the eggs, the agave syrup, the vinegar and melted butter.

We are going to activate the yeast by adding ¼ cup of warm water and adding the sugar, letting it rest for about 10 minutes until you see it foamy.

Once the fresh yeast is activated, add to the dry ingredients, mixture of eggs with butter, then the active yeast and the rest of the hot water to achieve a uniform consistency for up to 15 minutes.

The dough, when it is uniform, you should place it in the container and put it to bake between an hour and an hour and a half. If you want the top of the bread to have a glazed finish, we recommend that you beat an egg, and with a brush, pass it to the top of the bread.
