To warm up and invigorate the body: Healthy Broccoli Cream!
In this season when the temperature drops, eating salads begins to lose its appeal. However, we can keep the healthy ingredients in the diet while warming up a bit.
Broccoli with all its nutrients and fibers, with a low-fat almond milk, and with a gluten-free rice flour are a perfect combination of flavor and nutrition.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of butter
1 chopped onion
1 stalk celery, minced
3 cups chicken broth
8 cups of bouquets broccoli
3 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose rice flour
2 cups of Almond milk
black pepper to taste
Preparation
Melt the first two tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan and sauté the onion and celery until tender. Add the broccoli and broth, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour the soup into a blender, fill it jar no more than half.
For safety, secure the lid of the blender with a folded kitchen towel, and using a few quick pulses to stir the soup, continue until it becomes a smooth puree.
Pour the contents of the mixer into a clean pot carefully, and on low heat melt the 3 tablespoons of butter, the flour and the almond milk until thickened.
You can add a touch of pepper to taste at the end.
If you want to add an "extra", some Oaxaca cheese braids or a little curd it wouldn't be bad, like a few pieces of chopped almonds for that delicious and healthy crunch.
